As a mum of two young girls aged 5 and 2, I understand the daily struggles with balancing life. From the early morning wake up calls (5:30am this morning, on a Sunday, a Sunday!!), the chaos of school runs and wiping bums, to holding down a part time job, cleaning, laundry (lots of laundry), and spending time with my partner and friends.
I also know what it’s like to feel frumpy, tired and uncomfortable in my own skin. Turning down an invitation to a night out because I already know that my arse isn’t going to fit into any of my clothes.
But it’s simple right? I just have to eat healthily and exercise. Exercising and keeping fit, you are having a laugh aren’t you?! Cooking and eating balanced meals when I have been on the go all day and I am just gagging to nip to the Chinese and consume a whole bottle of wine instead.
I’m writing this blog for real-life mums, to inspire and educate normal mums to change their habits and get their confidence back. To help you feel great, to feel sexy again and to have enough energy to pick dried Play-Doh out of the carpet every night. Yes we are mums, but we are also women who like to look and feel good! We do occasionally want to ditch the snot smeared leggings and put on that little black dress.
